I really should be a pelican
Doing what my friends so easily can,
Like using a pouch
Without having to crouch
And swallowing a really big fish.
But this is why I’m a pelican’t,
The sad truth is I really can’t
Use my small pouch
Without crying out “Ouch!”
When swallowing a fish
And thinking I wish
I really was like a pelican.
